When we got Nibbles he was nearly blind and very nippy. That's why we called him Nibbles. When he was about middle aged his eye got inflamed. He recovered nicely but never opened that eye again. Before he died, he had a eye infection. It got better but on the night of his death,( Tuesday 20th October 2020,) we were worried about him. we called the vets and they said it sounded like he had had a small stroke. He died naturally when we were waiting for the vets. We buried him next to his childhood friend, Snuffles.

He will always be remembered as a great hamster. We will meet again over the Rainbow Bridge.
